Meet the Director

Founder of Bananas Films, Gonzalo Mejia is a filmmaker with an MFA in Cinema. His multi-disciplinary career spans over two decades, from producing live television and digital media to directing narrative cinema, Gonzalo understands the evolving landscape of visual storytelling.

Based in Miami, he combines technical precision with creative flair, offering clients a rare mix of academic knowledge, and real-world production experience. His portfolio includes the feature film Por La Vida, award-winning short films, and countless commercial projects for the US and Latin American markets.
